Duration

Distance and travel time
Mykonos Town and the south-coast beach strip are covered within the standard rate. That means Ornos, Platis Gialos, Psarou, Paradise and Elia. The northern coast, the far east towards Kalafatis, and remote inland villas involve substantially more driving, particularly at night, and may carry a travel supplement. Anything involving a tender out to a boat at anchor is priced separately because it is a genuinely different logistical exercise.

What is included and what is not
Travel
Within Mykonos Town and the south coast, travel is included. Beyond that a supplement may apply and we tell you at quoting. You are never asked to arrange or pay for transport separately on the night.
Time
The quoted rate covers the agreed duration, timed from arrival rather than from when someone set off. If you booked two hours, you have two hours from the moment she is with you, not from the moment she left.
Anything else
The rate is for a companion’s time and company. Dinner, drinks, entry to a club, a taxi you decide to take together. Those are ordinary costs of an evening out and they sit with you, exactly as they would with anyone you invited to dinner. There is nothing hidden here and nothing itemised in small print, because there is no small print.
Why we do not publish a fixed tariff
Reasonable question, and the answer is that a published number would be wrong most of the time. A two-hour evening booking at a hotel in Chora in June and an overnight booking at a villa in Panormos in mid-August are different arrangements with genuinely different costs, and a single headline figure would either overstate the first or understate the second.
What we commit to instead is this: you get a firm, complete figure before you agree to anything, it includes every supplement that applies, and it does not change afterwards. Paying
Cash on the night
Standard, and the simplest for everyone. Payment is settled directly at the start of the booking rather than at the end, which avoids any awkwardness later. Euros. Please have the agreed amount ready rather than needing to find a cash machine after arrival. In August the machines in Chora run empty regularly, so sort it during the day.
Deposits
Not required for a standard single booking. We may ask for one where we are committing real resources in advance: multi-companion group bookings, multi-day charter arrangements, or anything requiring travel to be arranged ahead. Where a deposit applies we say so before you commit, and we tell you what happens to it if plans change.
Currency
Euros. We do not take cards and we do not use payment platforms. The platforms generally do not permit this category, and a card record is precisely the sort of trace most clients would rather not create.

Nobody is being looked after
The least discussed and the most important. Rates well below the island norm generally mean somebody in the chain is being squeezed, and an arrangement where the companion is not being treated properly is not an arrangement anyone should want to be part of. We would rather quote honestly and lose the booking.
Changes and cancellations
Extending on the night
Frequently possible and frequently asked for. It depends entirely on whether your companion has a later commitment, so ask early in the evening rather than at the end of it. If she is free, we arrange the extension in a minute at the same hourly basis. If she is not, you will at least know in time to plan the rest of the night.
Cancelling
Tell us as early as you can. A cancellation with reasonable notice is simply a cancellation and costs you nothing. A cancellation after someone has already travelled across the island to reach you is a different matter, because the travel has already happened. In that situation we ask for a contribution toward it. This is not a penalty; it is the actual cost that has already been incurred.
No-shows
If nobody is at the address and nobody answers the phone, the booking is treated as complete. It is rare, and it is nearly always a phone that has died or a villa gate nobody can find, both of which are solved by making sure someone is reachable at the arrival time.

Why is August more expensive?
Because everything on Mykonos is more expensive in August.
